It makes perfect sense for Facebook to look for the best ways to convert their business efficiently. They are at the top of the social media food chain and they know how valuable and important it is for them to maintain the lead in the solutions that they provide to their audience at all times. Now they are bringing in a messenger system that is meant to be used by kids and it has created a bit of controversy, but it seems like this could be a good thing as long as there is proper parental monitoring involved.

There have been some issues related to children and social media, mostly with the scandals related to YouTube and video content with minors that seems to be rather disturbing. With that said, perhaps Facebook is making this move now because they feel like they can provide the right kind of support to make this messenger system easy to use and highly efficient for kids while easy to monitor for parents.

Facebook has made it very easy for people to download this messenger app. It can be used on tablets, phones and computers. The best thing is that you authenticate this with your own account, so your child is not the one authenticating the app. This means that you as a parent are going to have all of the control in your hands at all times. This is a great relief for people who are concerned about issues related to the use of the application.

You will also be able to look into the kind of contacts that your kids have in their Facebook and this is going to make it even easier for you to get the best possible results. The idea here is to make sure that parents are the one approving all of the contacts. This is going to make it harder for any accounts used by adults with bad intentions to be added to the list as parents are likely to only add the child’s friends.

Final thoughts

It’s still a little too early to say how this is going to end up, but it seems to me like the way Facebook is implementing this will be extremely easy for parents to use without being fearful of what their children are doing or who they are talking to in this messenger system.
