As we see many marketing platforms coming and going all the time, email marketing is one of the only ones that is still around. Why? Well, it is a system that is proven and that, its effectiveness is constant, in order to interact with customers, create a community and in turn, boost sales.

An advantage of email marketing is that you can anticipate and budget in advance how much you are going to invest in this marketing strategy. Another advantage of email marketing is that it is very profitable, the costs are low. In addition, this type of email marketing is primarily focused on conversion. These three points are important:

If you want to get a person’s email address, there are ways to do it. The most common way to do this is using one of three forms, placed on a web page; these forms can be online, floating or pop-up.

The pop-up form is the one that appears and covers almost the entire web page, therefore, the screen. The floating form is the one that usually appears at the bottom of the web page and the third is the online form, which is always static as it is embedded in some part of the website.

  1. The three basic types of email

The first are transmissions or campaigns, when a single unique email is send to a specific segment of your contacts. These emails can be sent on a schedule (send when appropriate) or sent immediately.

The second is automation, sequence or flow. These automated emails occur based on an event that was triggered by the specific actions of an audience.

The third is transnational emails. These are those that are sent by means of payment or through the platform of the website and contain information about the transactions that were made, such as receipts and order confirmations.

  1. The email sequences that every company should use

Everyone can use several critical email sequences. These sequences are divided into two, the first are those that are used before the purchase and the second, after the purchase. These sequences should guide the customer systematically so that they can complete the processes properly. Some sequences are used as a welcome for non-buyers, other for abandoned payment, the basic after the sale, among others.

Email marketing is, if it will continue to be one of the most effective forms of marketing.
