I know this is a very strange title to have, but the truth is that there are many ways that you could be failing with your attempts to achieve results with Facebook and you might not even know that you are making those mistakes. I will go over some of the most common mistakes being made and if you are making them, you need to stop right now.
Copy pasting news and articles
This is probably the biggest mistake that is being made by people who are trying to get exposure on Facebook. You need to create original content and you have to stop posting news that everyone else is posting just to try to get likes and shares. Most people will probably see the same news being published by larger pages before you post them and this is going to lower your credibility.
Liking your publications
When you like your own publications, you are telling people that you don’t have confidence in your posts and you are trying to make it seem like someone has liked it already. It’s obvious that you like your own post, otherwise you would not be posting it. This is something that can be irritating to some people, so avoid it at all costs.
Do not post too man like buttons in your blog posts
This is another tactic that people will find annoying and you really need to learn to work with the psychology of the average Facebook user. When a person finds that you are trying to fish for likes and comments, you will always get the worst kind of results.
Ignoring messages
This is another thing that many people fail to do and they often neglect the messages that people send to them private, but even worse, they fail to provide the required attention to the public messages they get and this is a huge mistake that can make people think that you are not professional.
Posting mediocre content
This is another huge mistake that people are making all the time when they are posting any new material. The biggest problem with this is that you lose subscribers when you post low quality content because they will sense that you don’t care about your audience anymore and you will post anything just to get a few likes. Avoid this at all costs and you will get great results even if you don’t post so often, just as long as each post as enough value to offer.
