There is no doubt that LinkedIn is one of the best and most reliable platforms at this point. This is one of the reasons why the creators have decided to create new features that are going to help people achieve optimal results. LinkedIn has finally implemented a system that allows posts to include attachments. I will be talking about the basics of this feature and how you can make the most of it for marketing purposes.

Now when you are about to start a post, you can see a file icon on the far right side of the post frame. This icon allows you to post files such as Power Point, Word and PDF. Then you have a photo icon and a video icon. The photo icon allows you to upload JPG and PNG, while the video option allows mp4 files to be used. This really does help enhance the way that you can use LinkedIn in order to optimize your reach and engagement. For example, you can give people the chance to download a quick guide or an eBook. This is an excellent way to upgrade your engagement when you post anything on the platform. It’s very important to keep in mind that this is a platform that is going to maintain a good level of popularity. The more you learn how to unleash the power of LinkedIn, the more likely it is that you are going to achieve amazing results.

I firmly believe that this platform is going to be around for a very long time, so it’s important to make use of it as much as you can. I would recommend staying as active as possible in at least 3 platforms. Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram would be a priority, but Twitter is also a strong contender. It’s essential to understand that social media is unpredictable. We all saw what happened to Google plus even when they had the power of Google behind them, but you can see how some platforms are doing much better than others.

Using file sharing with LinkedIn is a clear indicator that things are moving in the right direction for them. It is to be expected that we are going to see a rise in the use of this particular network now that it has moved up with a very engaging feature. Only time will tell if this is going to make it more appealing for marketers.
